Europe’s Places of Joy is a celebration of the cities, villages, coastlines, landscapes, and hidden corners that make this diverse continent so captivating. From sun-drenched Mediterranean squares and colourful markets to mountain villages, historic streets, and iconic landmarks, each artwork captures the atmosphere and spirit of a place at a particular moment in time.

My aim is not to replicate a scene, but to recreate the feeling of being there. Through vibrant colour, light, and movement, I seek to capture the energy, beauty, and emotion that make a place memorable. Every painting is an interpretation of an experience — a moment of discovery, connection, wonder, or joy.

As part of the series, I collect and share stories connected to the places I paint. Some are my own travel memories, while others come from people who know and love these locations. Together, the artwork and stories reveal the character of a place and the moments that make it meaningful.
