Colourful artwork, inspiring journeys and stories from places that spark joy.

Stories, art and adventures from a travelling artist, plus gentle reminders to seek out the places, moments and experiences that make life worth painting.

Doing My Work of Joy

For years, I thought my paintings were about places.

Then one day, while hanging an exhibition, I realised I wasn’t just looking at artwork. I was looking at my life. The places I’d explored. The adventures I’d had. The moments I’d stopped to notice. The memories I’d chosen to hold onto. And I remember thinking: how wonderful it is to create a life worth painting.

That moment changed something for me. Today, that idea sits at the heart of everything I do. Through my art, I celebrate the places, experiences and moments that make life richer, more colourful and more meaningful.

That’s what I call my Work of Joy.

Finding Places of Joy

Travel has always been part of who I am. I’ve always been drawn to beautiful places, new experiences and the stories waiting around the next corner. Building an art business around travel, exploration and creativity felt like a natural extension of the life I was already living.

My process is simple: I explore, notice, create and share. I seek out places that inspire me, capture their colour and atmosphere through paint, and share the stories that make them meaningful. Because the moments worth painting are all around us. We simply have to notice them.
