Stratford Upon Avon River – Fine Art Print. A sunny summer’s day on the river in Stratford-upon-Avon, with all the activity that makes this such a lively and much-loved part of the town. I’ve tried to capture as much of it as possible — the Shakespeare theatre and church providing the backdrop, while people are out walking, boating, rowing, canoeing and paddling, with the big wheel adding to the sense of a day out.
Look a little closer and you’ll see all the different ways people enjoy the river. Families, visitors, locals, boats coming and going — each with their own reason for being here and their own memories of Stratford. It’s these everyday moments that bring a place to life, and I wanted this painting to feel like a snapshot of a really good summer’s day by the river.

I like to re-interpret the place and the people, to reflect the experience in the moment. I enhance the joy, the light, the colours – until I feel I am there once again. Packaging
Your print will arrive safely with protective packaging.
Prints will be packaged in a cello bag with a thick piece of board. They will be posted flat in a recyclable cardboard envelope to avoid creasing.
All artwork is made to order and not kept in stock. Orders take up to 10 -14 working days to be made and dispatched.
